Great hotel and location, great food and service definitely coming back.

Great food (a bit pricey but no doubt set for the audience), brilliant staff and great location right next to Kahn Market

A little dated in places, I know it’s an Art Deco property but some newer wardrobes wouldn’t go a miss.

BALCONY,Garden, Location and greenery . Food was good but not too good. Staff was courteous.

1.No chair in balcony to sit and witness greenery , birds. When we booked the room, chairs were there in the picture. 2.Had to ask for basic things like soap, shampoo, comb, bathrobe and they took too long to send.

Receptions and customer care is bad

Every thing is ok

They have charged my credit card extra. When I contact at receptions they told me that it was refunded within one week. But so far it was not refunded. I mailed them twice and even call them but so far no response on mail and not attending the call properly

Room was very large. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had the best water pressure I experienced in India.

The carpet was dirty and full of sand, the sheets though clean were stained.

Great base for exploring Delhi

Great hotel, location is fantastic (can easily walk to Khan market, safe, Lodhi gardens nearby, metro stop around the corner), people are nice, rooms are clean but not very special, quiet, value for money, nice breakfast, there are some small shops nearby.

Gym is nothing special, pool was closed.

Wonderful

Great service by the staff. Special mention to Roshan and Guddi for the daily make up of my room, their extra efforts to make my stay as comfortable as it can be (kudos guys).

Visited the grocery store in the hotel and some of the stuffs that they are selling are expired!!!

I liked it, but it was a bit creepy

That was very centric, location-wise was great

That it doesn’t look like the photos. It’s much more outdated than portrayed in the pictures. Also, my bathroom had a lock to close the bathroom door from the outside it would be easy to lock someone in the bathroom

Very Good

The room was very clean and spacious. The extra bed we asked for was delivered to us quite quickly and efficiently. Staff were helpful and made our stay rather smooth. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area, although when on the balcony, the sound of the cars remains inescapable, as is the norm for Delhi. The walk to and from the metro station is very fast, making the hotel very convenient to get to. Breakfast was mostly good, and there were many dishes that could be made to order.

The balcony is completely empty, with no single chair or table. The staff, although courteous, seemed distant - possibly reflecting the desires of business travellers but less so leisure travellers. The room where breakfast is served is very small, has strange decor and is quite hard to find. If you ask for anything to order for breakfast, it takes quite some time to arrive, and staff struggle to explain each dish, at least in English. The facade of the building seems ill-maintained and has paint peeling off; and the signage to the hotel is so small and unimposing that one could easily miss the entrance to the hotel.

Stylish and graceful, no-worries hotel

This is a classic style hotel which still has a bit of the old-English sphere though with a lot of local touch. Local paintings, couple of shops with local things and staff is mixing international level of attentiveness with Indian business. The rooms are large enough. Not modern, but with fan and air-conditioning. Bath room has modern furniture and a good shower. Cleaning and service is top; they even knock on your door at 7:15 to ask if you need bottled water, so don't forget to hang the not disturbing sign. The hotel is located in a relatively clean and quiet area of New Delhi. Close by Indian gate and a good location for arrivals by air as well as for people willing to explore Delhi. They arranged for our group seating in the bar where we good choose dinner from the menus of both restaurants they have. So they do deliver service and a relaxing time.

Prices in the bar and restaurants are relatively tough. They have a large drinks menu but throughout the week not everything was available. The pictures on the website show a pool, but that seems to be (also according to other reviews) under reconstruction for years (as they could even spent to make an engraved sign for informing the guests about it). The alternative that they provide is that you are brought to a hotel two minutes away by the hotel car which has a large, modern pool. It is a solution but not ideal. Next they always left the aircon and some lights on after c;leaning. Didn't look as it was welcome-back service as it was done randomly (even if you didn't hang the sign for cleaning the room). If you book there and have breakfast every day it is not a cheap option (for India) but it is well-suited for business travellers that do not need to go out during the evening because they have many options for eating.

I had a pleasant stay at Ambassador, New Delhi. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The atmosphere felt safe and welcoming.

I encountered insects in the bed, which was very unpleasant. Housekeeping and kitchen staff could definitely improve their standards. However, the Quality Manager addressed the issue promptly and offered a complimentary service, which was appreciated.
